@MrCanuck We already know about ozempic ass (serious glutes musle loss), that ozempic disproportionately leads to muscle loss relative to fat loss, so that's already a serious strike.https://www.prevention.com/health/a44316429/ozempic-butt-side-effects/(I started a new thread, I don't want to spam Adam and John)

@Viking yeah it's a racket for sure. Meanwhile, my friend can't get his supply here in Canada (it's used to treat diabetes, after all) because of recreational use in the US (you can only get it for diabetes here, currently)

@MrCanuck I almost got on the Ozempic bandwagon, as I heard good grapevine reports, but it seems like it emulates/causes steady calorie restriction, which is the worst diet for preserving muscle mass.

@MrCanuck If you for example want to reduce your calories 20%, and do it by reducing calories eaten by 20% across the board, the body will try to keep blood sugar in the typical range, and does it by sometimes consuming muscle tissue. On the other hand, if you fast for a 3 day stretch every two weeks, body switches to a starvation mode, where hormonal changes better preserves muscle mass than calorie restricted diets with regular small meals.
