       @Maholmire How exactly does #Meta want to "collect people’s private information" outside of their own application/platform? #ActivityPub doesn’t federate any personal information. It doesn’t even federate likes.

       If that is the case, then it is beyond me as to how we've managed to get it to function as it has in the first place. Though, I wouldn't put it past Meta to federate with select instances and scrap data through ActivityPub by proxy.@hirad
