Best wishes, but please ponder social media fatigue. There are many sites I'm paying to access (music tuition, motor racing, gaming, etc.) that are attempting to create a social media presence within their immediate community. It's not working very well, however.All I'm saying is, beware of social media fatigue amongst Internet users. Design your products and services with that in Mind(s).

I had a community on Google+. I worked hard creating it. Google deleted all the communities after a time. I will not bother with such a prospect again, as I will not own or control it.

It's hard to build a community when you get blocked for not being 100% in agreement with people. It's more of an echo chamber at that point. You tried though minds great job but all the maga fags on here turned you into a crappy twitter lol. Minds was a great platform before all of the conservatives got booted off twitter and came here. problem with email is that too many people use other services like gmail yahoo or even aol still. all these services block "suspicious" account be either sending it to spam to not letting it through completely. Dealt with way too many cases each year where ppl be like "oh i dont see you email" "I didnt get your email" "did you get my email?"

Nope, look at the price list. They want to rent out their central platform running your Minds "clone" on a domain you rent from GoDaddy (very centralized).And if you don't want to rent from Minds there's the self-hosting option where you run their open source software YOURSELF (hahahahah) on central servers you rent from Amazon or whatever AND a domain you rent from GoDaddy.

minds is trying to monetize their product. They have done a lot of work creating this platform. If someone else can figure out $ and but can't or don't want to write the site, they can lease the platform without having the expense of development and having that cost captured. And I truly wish them success. This is the only platform I'm on. I need this.
