@neanderthalsnavel right? But I can't say much. Kansas is one of the most purple states I've seen but everyone thinks it's solid red. We've elected some of the most puzzling democratic govoners, have some of the most pro abortion laws, have some of the highest tax burdens in the country, and yet, the state congress is deep red and we have constitutional carry.

@Meachamus_Prime @JamesC ok I checked, MA is shall issue now. But they honor nobody else’s permit. While SC honors many other state permits. Score is still wrong IMO.

@mikegastin I’ve got an uncle in upstate NY with a permit there, he didn’t think it was hard to get but it doesn’t cover NYC and I think Albany maybe. Many say NYC forgedaboutit. Further, Utah on this map F is super friendly for a permit especially for non resident. Back when GA didn’t honor SC, UT non res was the one to get and even though I don’t need it now $30 and a selfie for renewal every five years, why not. @Meachamus_Prime @JamesC

@maxburn Can’t speak to your uncle’s experience, but talk to most anyone and they’ll tell you NYS is hostile to the 2A. Won’t go into details. Utah gets an F exactly because it’s friendly. This is a progressive mapping of gun control laws/states. SC gets a D-? With open carry? C’mon. The map is purposefully anti-2A.
