@vidak Nextcloud is actually just a PHP CGI app, so it should be possible to run it without Docker, only using a CGI server and SQLite.You could also try Syncthing.

@vidak I'm tempted to switch from Nextcloud to Syncthing since the Nextcloud Android app is ridiculously bad, such as taking half an hour to sync 2000 files despite having gigabit internet, or the fact that it doesn't even support 2-way sync (https://github.com/nextcloud/android/issues/19)

@vidak I'm tempted to switch from Nextcloud to Syncthing since the Nextcloud Android app is ridiculously bad, such as taking half an hour to sync 2000 files despite having gigabit internet, or the fact that it doesn't even support 2-way sync (https://github.com/nextcloud/android/issues/19). I guess a less drastic solution would be to switch to using a WebDAV sync client since Nextcloud is really just a glorified WebDAV server.
