       @mkennedy I was fortunate to get a free 50 GB Box account when they first started. When Dropbox started enforcing the 3-computer limit I moved to Box. I also use a private GitHub repo that I sync with GitHub Desktop (only b/c I don't want to learn Git) and that works well. I also use Beyond Compare (excellent program!) to sync folders across computers within my home. I use it when I want to control what gets sync'd.I must admit this issue has me looking at NextCloud.

       @pbeens Interesting. Sounds like a decent setup. I also love BeyondCompare. I considered NextCloud but all the self hosting stuff seems like a new puppy to babysit, especially in light of own(ed)Cloud’s level 10 CVE last week (two weeks ago?).

       @mkennedy Update: It took me less than 10 minutes to install #NextCloud  on the server where my website lives (using Softaculous) and install the desktop client on my PC. I'm going to try it out.

       @nextcloud @mkennedy Nextcloud seems to be working well on my PC but my Mac gives me errors when uploading large files. I may investigate it more later but these next few weeks are too busy.
