       I know that we live in vastly different regions of the globe and are experiencing different seasons right now, but that looks a lot like our land right now.

       The nearby area has a few days ago went a cold tropical storm came through. We were in high enough ground that our land was largely OK. We have sandy soil outside of our raised garden beds and underneath them, so it drains pretty well. Those on lower ground or closer to the river got flooded.
