... And then there are all the #apps that work both on Linux and #Android (and often Windows and macOS too). KDE Connect, Itinerary, @neochat, Kasts, etc., as @VolkerKrause tells us, are being updated for other platforms:https://volkerkrause.eu/2023/12/16/kf6-android-porting-status.html

@mlekar @kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social No, Ubuntu Touch isn't a classic Linux desktop. Check https://plasma-mobile.org/get/

@itsoulos @kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social It works of course, but it's interface isn't mobile friendly at all. Merkuro will be a better fit, it uses the same backend as KMail (Akonadi) anyway.

@mlekar If your Ubuntu Touch device has that new Snap support (https://open-store.io/app/snapz0r.fredldotme), you may be able to run some Plasma Mobile apps like Kasts https://snapcraft.io/kasts or https://snapcraft.io/angelfish (I have not tried this, YMMV 🙂 )@bart@mastodon.fam-ribbers.com@kde@floss.social @kde

@linmob @mlekar @kde That's not Plasma Mobile though, that's just some apps. You'll still be running Lomiri
