       Minnesota just unveiled their new state flag. For reference, Ilhan Omar is from Puntland, so I am sure this is just a coincidence that it looks like a variation of Somali, Puntland state flag.

       @obihahn @SirRichard I never realized how effed up Minnesotans were until i started working and had to do time in Minneapolis. But looking back at presidential elections they've been progressives for a long damn time.

I don't know if the Somalian flag has anything to do with it, but it's odd how similar it is.I think someone once told me why the current flag was offensive, but all I recall is it needed to be #woke.

       @fkq1q2r2 @neanderthalsnavel @obihahn @SirRichard I guess I can be thankful for small mercies.  The RI flag hasn't been changed or challenged in a while.  They did have to take and Providence Plantations out of the name even though the word Plantation didn't mean the same thing in 1636 as it did in 1850 or 2020.  It's very blue in these parts.

       @demi26 it’s a stupid redesign of the Star. It is supposed be/represent the North Star. I would have identified the original design as the North Star. This one makes me think “Amish”.
