@LoveAlmonds @CONSERVATARIAN @MMA @Java @Phil I have to admit that I have eaten frog's legs exactly once - when my black son cooked them for me. I haven't gone looking for them since. LOLI also never tried his chicken feet and a few other "traditional southern black foods." I did try chicken and waffles. I like chicken and I like waffles, but both together wasn't something to write home about.The fried okra he gave me was a hit though, a surprise, my childhood memory of okra was not good.

American Christians would come over to visit the church, and the pastor would farm them out to stay with different church families. They often complained about "food with eyes." We told our Ukrainian friends in the church that Americans don't eat anything that looks back at them.
