       Other large shipping companies are joining maersk in avoiding the red sea in future voyages. Increasing shipping costs and lead times for arrivals by a large margin. Meanwhile, some groups on the somali coast have stated piracy again. All while this is happening, a large portion of the us navy sits around getting intimidated by the iranian coast guard. Priceless.

       @matty @SrbijaStronk What was the figure? I seem to recall reading just a couple of days ago that the navy dismissed nearly 40,000 sailors for refusing the shot. 40-fucking-thousand.They're not doing shit to anyone.More of this is surely coming.

       @matty I don't think much, but many of america's subjects do in fact get a lot of that traffic. This is devastating for america's reputation and capability for holding a thumb on everyone else. Insurance must be beyond ridiculous.
