@mcread They need to learn how to use the pre heat while plugged in feature. It took me four years to work out how to have the heater on while using a DC charger. It barely ever freezes here though.

@mcread couple looked like Mazdas but could be Tesla "suv" which doesn't even look like and suv to me. EV in Canada especially above the 50th, is stupid..EVs work good, indoors, and short distance, in mild, dry climates...
