Need some advice from fellow OTGersI need a working Facebag account to manage my band page, events, chase gigs etc. I had an old OTG account that wasn’t in my name, that has been nuked for “suspicious activity”. Little chance of getting it back without “official ID”. Last Anon one I tried to create they wanted official Photo ID on that one. Since it’s inception, I’ve never had a Facebag account, save the old anon one. Don’t want to get one now. Any suggestions for what to do ???

@Bob_Smith already have the band page. I just need access to it. Don’t want to use someone’s account if they’re using it. If they abandoned it, maybe. I’ve asked around. No one I’d be happy to do that with, though I had a couple of “yeah, I guess so”

@Mummabear already doing that, but I need access myself as I use it to chase and book gigs. Hate it, but it’s the “preferred platform”. Glad I didn’t link the insta account. Still have that running fine as a brand account

@Brianwarden or was after that someone had created a fake cop page and caused all sorts of outrage. They started asking for ID. I tried setting up an account with an anonysh handle. They asked all these verification questions. I answered them as truthfully as Facebag is impartial. They wanted a photo. I obliged. They then wanted a photo of some ID. I sent them a photo of my middle finger. They shut that account down straight away

@ChrisWilson When a separate page is set up on a Facebook account, it functions as an independent account. You can set up a page and do all of the things you want to do separate from the original Facebook account.

@Bob_Smith true, but you need a Facebag personal account to access it through. That was what was shut down on mine. The personal account. The band page is still active and managed by one of the bass players (always carry a spare bass player, you’ll never know when you need one)
