       I really need to try harder to not be so ashamed of who I am as a person.Of course, that would be much easier if people I thought I was close to weren't also ashamed of who me :/

       @OpenComputeDesign I've always had more support from friends than family. I'm sorry to hear you've gone through this. People should be free to be themselves, so long as the aren't hurting anyone. Might be time to seek out new mates.

       @s31bz I've never been great at friending. I actually have video proof of me at like three years old at a playdate having absolutely _none_ of it.And my social anxiety has only skyrocketed since. It doesn't help that I tend to suffer from paranoia and OCD, and need external reassurance I'm not hurting anyone, which tends to drive a lot of people away.
