       switching from glasses to contacts is a bit like going from console fps with 60° fov to playing quake on PC with the fov set to 110suddenly you can see a lot more and your situational awareness is improved

       @mia when I started to have glasses I really felt like having something blocking side of my viewmy eyes were so used to glance constantly everywhere it’s so weird

       @icedquinn that really depends on a lot of things.contacts need to be breathable and should be removed before bed. it also depends on how clean the water supply is, because if contaminated water gets in your eyes while showering that can end badly even if you remove the contacts before you shower. there are some horrifying cases of infection and parasites that hurt just to read about ​:meowsleepless:​
