       @edwiebe @charliejane It has many blogging-like aspects!Except, unlike Blogger, or Wordpress, or (rest in peace lol) Six Apart or the many other blogging tools ...... they offer hefty signing bonuses and guarantees to marquee authors, and also curate and promote authors algorithmically and otherwiseThese are editorial calls allSo whether or not they *call* themselves a publisher, they quack like one, at least some of the time
