@js @csb @moritzk Which API tokens are you talking about here?Is your app updating the access and refresh tokens?The access token expires after 2h and the refresh token after 30 days. You must get a new one or authorize the app again. I've just also replied to your email.

@Kolomona @csb @dave @js @Alby @bumi Just chiming in as a 3rd party...it is very difficult to scale up a service like Alby when there is a surge in adoption. I'd encourage people to be patient with them doing what they need to do to scale, and also, it's not Alby's fault if they're just about the only game in town. There should be a variety of v4v compatible wallet services.

@Kolomona @csb @dave @js @Alby @bumi Yeah, I can only speculate. The fact they are telling people to keep smaller amounts of Bitcoin in Alby wallets makes me think a rug pull isn't the goal. From what I've seen so far I get the impression they're trying to scale responsibly and reduce risk for users.

@bumi @csb @dave Thanks Bumi - I just emailed - tldr as a user I'd expect existing api access to be managed in the portal where it was before.Also did not need to go through a user oauth process back when I created my initial token, since my use case is simple access to my own single wallet. Pretty much every service has a simplified path for that use case - again usually just provisioning a token in the portal.

@bumi my personal reasons are classified for security reasons it’s also a practice in certain yuge corporations I am working for: to discuss on channels in enterprise chat services, not via emails; same with support chats at OpenAI company = NOT via emailbottom line: I would not send you email no matter what, I recommend self-service or web based chat for that function, using mailto: reflects badly on your business thanks bigly for API key generation enabling CC: @moritzk
