       @hajovonta I know that. I also know that I hate their editor with a passion and having my default editor (let's assume emacs here) would be a great step up.

       @mmsa few years ago we decided to put our documentation into markdown files and worked out a solution to automatically convert these pages to confluence pages. This way we got to work on markdown for which you can use a multitude of editors, it was version controlled by Git, and still readable through Confluence. On the other hand, we needed to keep markdowns simple for the conversion to work.I still hold the position that the documentation should be plaintext.

       @mms I just made it unlisted instead of private, give it another go! It’s not well tested at all currently but i wrote out a plan for it a few days ago. Hopefully I’ll have time to work on it over the coming weeks! Patches always welcome haha
