       I really am enjoying a certain type of renaissance of #SimpleMinds, inasmuch as they are putting out new material that is fresh (maybe not the best of their catalog, but stands up remarkably against anything out today), but also leaning into the power of their early pre-DontYouForgetAboutMe fame albums, where they were more post-punk and new wave layered artsy than much else.
