@ThewTheKooky When I found it, there was no battery, nope. It looks perfectly clean. Haven't tried it out yet but... it looks immaculate.

@Baron_Rotterdam It is. I remember selling these when I worked at Lechmere back in the 90s. When I opened it, I looked all the seals and they appear to be perfectly intact and clean.

@Dan_Ramos You Sir have found treasure!Those walkman's were excellent radios. I had a couple and wish we could still buy them. Even the expensive portable radios are no where as good as the SONY Walkmans!

@RayGun Yep! Although, being watertight, I'll bet the belts are probably perfectly intact since they wouldn't dry out--unless they're just simply worn from usage. We'll see. It looks really pristine so I'll get it didn't get a lot of usage.
