βOn Human Rights Day, the EU joins the world in celebrating the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This landmark document laid the foundation for our global human rights system as well as national laws & international treaties protecting & promoting human rights, including the ECHR in Europe. @EU_Commission we should do more, much more, to respect the human rights of people seeking asylum in the Union, instead of letting them die on our borders because we don't like them. Otherwise speeches like this are quite futile.

@EU_Commission 'Self-proclaimed human privileges', I'd call them, which are selectively applied to those considered to be 'human enough', by those who best murdered and manipulated their way to the position of most power.
