Left brain vs. right brain theoryIn the 1960s, the neurobiologist Roger W. Sperry suggested that all people have one-half of their brain, which is more dominant and determines their personality, thoughts, and behavior.Due to the different functions of the two brain hemispheres, the idea that people can be left-brained and right-brained is tempting.According to the dated theory, left-brained people are more:analyticallogicaldetail- and fact-orientednumericallikely to think in wordsBy contrast, the theory suggests that right-brained people are more:creativefree-thinkingable to see the big pictureintuitivelikely to visualize more than think in words https://www.minds.com/newsfeed/1580344589615632385

I don't see how anyone would see anything but walking backward. Each hoof is only flat on the ground when moving left. The knees are more bent when moving right.

As usual an interesting aspect of our minds was, at the time turned into an overly simplified explanation.Nonetheless, there is some absolutely fascinating research in people who have their corpus callosum (link between the brain halves) damaged. Too much to describe here, but do a bit of digging, it's fascinating.

I remember the spinning ballerina. I could visualize her spinning left and right depending on how I focused on itI see the horse walking backwards. Don’t know how anyone can see otherwise.

I am as left-brained as they come. And it’s walking backward.

I see it going backwards, but if I scroll so only the top of the legs are visible, it goes frontwards.

I see the horse going backwards, but I am an engineer. I am good at creative things though. I may be a bit of both.

Wasn't that left brain right brain crap disproved ages ago, at least since they started to use MRI I think. Just like that stupid thing about people only use a small percentage of their brains.
