       Former NYTimes opinion writer Bari Weiss has been accused of targeting Palestinian professor and poet Refaat Alareer in her social media posts, which are apparently followed by IDF soldiers. Weiss's speech at the University of Texas led to a heated protest by students who interpreted her posts and previous comments as incitement to violence against Professor Alareer, who was murdered along with members of his family in a targeted strike on Thursday.
