I do find it fascinating when I see the types of people that want that, what types of things they post about and what their personality online is. They want to be a drama magnet with none of the consequences of being one. It's why comment boxes have been turned off on politically loaded news stories (without heavy moderation WaPo style), why visible thumbs down ratings are hidden, and more.

The only people actually leaving are surprise, the lolisho artists who can't post on Twitter and the political types who couldn't take a break from slurs long enough to say the same thing for the Twitter masses.To quote someone else (in the context of Gab, but can apply to Twitter alternatives as well):"Not to mention Gab suffers from what I refer to as the “8chan problem”, or perhaps more succinctly, the “quarantine problem”.
