Any military action on behalf of #China's #PLA before the #elections to be held in #Taiwan on January 13th is highly unlikely anyway. #XiJinping may get to negotiate with folks from the #KMT and #TPP who are much more likely to concede to him after that date - at least that's what he, the #CCP and its #UnitedFront minions are trying to achieve in the month ahead by massively interfering in Taiwan's internal affairs. #TaiwanisnotChina #fucktheCCP #FarEast

@moffintosh Nah, that nonsense is over since at least 10 to 15 years. Most folks would prefer to drop the silly "Republic of #China" name for "#Taiwan" as they identify as Taiwanese or Taiwanese and Chinese alike, not as solely Chinese anymore. The latter has dropped from 25% in 1992 to 2.5% in polls. See graph below for how this has evolved all the way to June 2023.Frankly I never refer to the country as ROC, but always as free and democratic Taiwan. Jiaoyou Taiwan! #FarEast
