       For my [redacted]th birthday a few weeks back, I decided to finally use a real IDE, after decades of using 1970s technology. I am now using technology that was current when I was really into Duran Duran!

       @fugueish given how much time we spend solving problems they create it's certainly refreshing when computers can instead be helpful.

       @fugueish You'll hear no complaint from me. It's the most productive tool I've used having also spent many years each using Emacs and Vim. Microsoft also deserves credit for the Language Server Protocol which was a significant boost to extension development, and not just for VSCode.

       @djm @fugueish @patrickod I've been enjoying doing embedded and FPGA side projects where I'm lucky to have LEDs and printf is some kind of high tech unobtainium.
