       @pluralistic I used to use Trilian and Pidgin. I used Messages with Jabber/XMPP before it was killed on all sides. Imagine if one client could manage iMessage, WhatsApp, Slack, and Google Voice SMS. That would really remove a lot of annoyance from my life.

       @pluralistic beeper mini didn’t last long. Apple has pulled the plug on them.
