You can create threads on Mastodon using the traditional method:1. Post first part of thread2. Reply to first part with second part3. Reply to second part with third etcSome third-party apps and services also have thread creation tools. It's a good idea to number threads so that people who notice one part will explore the rest. Also, set first post to "public" visibility but replies to "unlisted", to avoid filling public timelines.Lots more info on threads at https://fedi.tips/how-do-i-post-a-thread-on-mastodon/

p.s. Just to clarify, the "unlisted" visibility setting for posts is almost exactly like the public setting, anyone can see it and share it.The only difference is unlisted posts don't show up on the Federated or Local timelines, and don't show up in hashtag searches.More info about post visibility settings:https://fedi.tips/who-can-see-my-posts-in-mastodon-how-do-i-send-dms-in-mastodon/(This post is itself on the "unlisted" visibility setting, so you can see exactly how visible it is.)
