You know those flash drives that have USB-A on one end and USB-C on the other?I wonder what happens if you plug them both in at once... I'm guessing nothing good.

@foone I just tested this! The answer is that USB C takes priority. Even if the A device was plugged in first, C will take over once it's been plugged in, and return control when it's disconnected.

@foone wait, no - scratch that I'm mistaken - USB C takes priority! Even when USB A was first, plugging in the other side using USB will disconnect the A device and hand it over to the C device.
