@Mummabear We did that when my kids were little. When my youngest was around two, she said "I don't like the elf, it watches me" We finally ended it after 7 or 8 years. they got to "keep" the elf

@Mummabear I didn't know it was a thing until I was watching a dumb tech podcast.It happened when I was was being indoctrinated so that's probably why I didn't know about it.
