I tried to get a covid booster today.I have things coming up that I’m not going to be comfortable at if I'm worried about catching covid again.But a couple months ago I caught covid (attending to my eye health), and so I was refused a booster today. I have to wait six months, they said.1. If the policy is this rigid, it should have been a disqualifying question on the appointment-making website./cont

I tried to argue anyway.The latest science I read was that you're best protected against catching it again if you just had it *and also you're vaccinated.*Doesn’t the fact that I caught it suggest my previous vaccines’ efficacy had waned?Meriting a booster, particularly as the holiday / winter season approaches?To be safe rather than sorry, both because it's a miserable experience and because long covid is a chance with each new infection?/cont
