Twenty years ago today, I lost my brother. I can’t believe it’s been that long. Some days it feels like he just passed away, and others it seems like it’s only been a year or two. It certainly doesn’t feel like 20. Today, it’s a hard day. I’m glad I have the store and I get to spar tonight. Otherwise, I think I’d go out of my mind.

@umad80 A thought had crossed my mind over the weekend. A dangerous endeavor. It's customary to give condolences and comfort the weeks surrounding a lost loved one. Then it's business as usual for the majority of those who expressed their support at the proceedings. For others is to be carried and days littered with reminders. Here's to everyone and loved ones lost. I understand your pain.

@umad80 Very sorry for your loss. I can’t explain it, but losing a sibling can sometime cut the worst of all. It’s just wrong somehow.

@CheetahFeet It is weird how we do that, isn’t it? But I guess it’s the only way we know. And as much I am hurting today, I also send my condolences to everyone who has lost a loved one. It’s a pain that never goes away.

@Dusty I tell people it’s like losing a part of your soul. I’ve lost grandparents, animals, acquaintances, etc., but the losing of a sibling is just different.
