       With #ffmpeg #AV1 encoding is much faster than #vp9, but really faster and also with a better quality, x264 is the fastest while x265 isn't much far from vp9.However those efficient codec aren't yet fully supported, like Twitter which is strictly constrained to mp4 and #AVC as others website around. So is time to start adopting the new the #AOMedia #Video 1 aka  #AV1 with opus codecs that are both also Royalty Free and better

       @pafurijaz do you know which encoders currently support it?  #FOSS would be appreciated, of course.And which wrapper does it use? Is it simply AV1?

       @lps Encoder I don't know I use ffmpeg for everything, the container is mkv but also webm works.

       @pafurijaz I didn't think to look, but just answered my own question for anyone following this thread.I can confirm that #handbrake includes AV1 🤟
