the whole thing about the Matt Rife controversy is so pathetic. Dude could have appealed to the boys in a much more clever way and instead he decided to pull off the most basic unfunny joke that could appeal only to room temperature IQ retards who idolize Tate and Alpha Male Coaches. Successful comedian who had mostly a female audience because he's hot. He became famous because he played the hot guy part and frequently flirted with the women in his audience during crowdwork. Despite this he was mad that women were the biggest part of his audience because he thinks he makes "comedy for the men". In a recent Netflix special he pulled off an unfunny joke about how women who can't cook deserve to be beaten, and of course he's losing audience because of this. The whole thing is fucking pathetic considering he exploited being liked by women to get where he is, and him saying he's problematic is just untrue because he never dared to say anything about gays and trannies

you can do it as a joke. There is a clip of him talking with this woman that says she has been a widow for 1 year, and he replies "oh I'm so sorry... are you back on the market or..." and in another clip he's talking to this other woman and he says "you are so hot btw".It's not a common thing and you can pull it off without being seen as creepy only if you are very attractive like him, or if you are a woman I guess.

im mostly shocked by how a comedian who can be truly funny like him decided to pull off the most boomer-minded joke ever to appeal to men, when he could have said so many mean jokes about women that are true (believing in astrology, being easily tricked by fuckboys, not splitting on dates etc)
