       @ProjectFearlessnessI am if it's the result of merit and not based on equity. Through progress and evolution and the growth in that direction. It's a good number to expose but making a law that forces it always turns out poorly. It builds resentment and throws women to the wolves unless they have all the tools and experience happens. If equity==parity then I don't know if I'm for it. It needs to be encouraged and facilitated not mandated. Clear?

       @ProjectFearlessnessI just looked at COP28 and aren't most of those people royalty of sorts? Many of those cultures being exceedingly chauvinistic and sexist? You're right. It's a slippery slope. And since I'm a male chauvinist feminist (I thought I was an actual feminist but my last girlfriend disabused me of that) but I'm seeing huge amounts of weird equity blowback happening and I don't want anything being branded as tokenism.        @ProjectFearlessnessI'm all for pushing and enabling systems that feed women into places of power; actually, I'm against entitled rich elite "gentleman C" leadership. As society trends more to only women thriving in college, grad school, and postdoc, I can only assume that it'll be more 60/40 majority women before long.

       @chris It is a valid concern. Introducing quotas to force gender equality does leave women open for criticism about whether they are the best candidate for the job. It's an issue.In an ideal world gender equality would, with a little encouragement, just happen organically. This is not an ideal world.
