Imitation is a good thing for our collective good & is also a compliment if someone imitates us.Biological systems are mostly Copy–Paste & modify slightly (so called "innovation"). We are products of Evolution  — Descent with modification.Thanks to the rotten system we all are coerced to live under — Capitalism, the thing that we should encourage everyone to do — imitating & copying — is instead punished as if it's some great wrong.What a shitty & anti-human system with fucked up incentive structure that generations of our ancestors imposed upon us, which most likely we will impose on next generation too, unless we bring out some change in this process.Instead of incentivising sharing, imitating & copying, we created a cruel system of building fences & enclosures using so called "intellectual property" which is a violent system that criminalises thought.#perspective
