       Some people will truly never understand bitcoin. Tired of the comments of crypto articles saying "You can just change a value in the program and say you have 12345.12345 btc and be rich."Consensus does not work like this, nor does the ledger operate like this.

       @TheCzar That's a common coping mechanism for people who just don't want to adopt a new technology.  They don't have a legitimate argument against it, so they cling to willfully ignorant misrepresentations of how they imagine it works, rather than learn the reality and make an informed criticism.I had an uncle who refused to get a cell phone because he said anybody else with one could listen in on your calls, like a CB radio.  He just didn't want to put in the effort to learn anything new.
