That said, I love the look, I like stainless, and the shape is coolI would like a big diesel in there, but that's a different discussionI bet towing with electric is nice!All that's academic discussion because Elon is a major demon for Assholia and is actively deceiving and running projects for enslavement, torture and death for humans and so I won't buy Teslas.

@Mummabear Just seen some review. It’s definitely fast and even bulletproof. There’s basically no interior besides a screen only. Probably never going to be allowed in the EU. It lacks any kind of pedestrian safety. Rather impractical also, just like all those other giant gas guzzling trucks.🧐

Nothing about electric vehicles is efficient, we've know that since the prius. I don't know that I could use this as a work truck the same way I do full sized American pickup trucks. I don't believe it has the axel capacity. But it's a necessary first step in making electric viable.

No one is going to buy this to do work unless the fashion or aesthetics of their work requires something like this.It's a clean sheet design on an electric truck, there's no reason for them to ape big3 truck designs. It's a more efficient vehicle than the other electric trucks and introduces 48v and steer by wire.

@DaemonFools @Mummabear I used to know a guy who was among the first people to make a reservation for one of these:He was a quasi-elite guy who worked in the environmental sector as a consultant. I imagine his income came largely from the government through various grants. He lived rural and needed to pull a trailer, but he had made a personal commitment to avoid gas cars and some other energy sources that I can’t recall. A true believer and not a guy with male buddies to mock the cyber truck.

@CSB @Pantangelini @Mummabear The base 2WD model is cheaper than the F150 or GMC 1500 EV trucks, and the top of the line competes with the Rivian, HummerEV, and 250(0)/350(0) high trim models. We'll see if it just a symbol or goes beyond that.Concerns I'm seeing are based on Tesla's currently atrocious QC/QA.
