Same 6" plate but 5.56 at 75 yards with iron sights. Winchester surplus green tips make for some fun sparks at dusk.

@TechyDog Yours is a bit tougher than mine.My clever hanger didn’t hold up well either..223 scoped at 200 yds.

@Murray_N Nice... I have a .223 Wylde 20" barrel but the damn thing misfeeds with .223 so I stick with 5.56. Might switch to a shorter barrel at some point.

@TechyDog Those were done with a 20” 556 upper and mixed reloads with 55 gr boattails.I have a 16” .223 Wylde full floating with a Holosun 510C on it currently for indoor training. Its a bit overgassed and occasionally doesn’t lock open but usually feeds both 556 and 223. A few stuck rounds I had to mortar out but that’s what training is for I suppose.

@Murray_N @TechyDog not locking back is a symptom of under gassed to the best of my knowledge

@TechyDog That target has more damage than in the picture.30-06 goes right through the stainless steel my friend cut it out of.

@SirDHSlammer @TechyDog Might just be a leaky gas block. It flashes pretty big.My coworker the former army armourer told me it was overgassed.Throws cases forwards, which is a sign of overgassed.I believe I saw a vid by The School of the American Rifle saying not locking back is a symptom of overgassed too. Maybe not locking is a sign of both.It doesn’t happen often.I don’t know. I just shoot the thing.
