@linuxtechmore There is no justification for what the Hamas terrorists did to innocent Israeli civilians. I'm not an apologist for the Israeli government, but they have not been in the Gaza strip since 2005 and after they left was it not up to the Palestinians to make lives for themselves, and to pursue peace accords with Israel to find a way to live side by side? No one wants to see innocent Palestinians hurt, but Hamas is like ISIS and thus they need to go.

@linuxtechmore The state of Israel was created by UN resolution, which the Jewish people accepted. Do I contest that some settlers committed atrocities? No, I am sure some did and they should be punished for those crimes. Palestinians are human beings too and deserve to live. I don't see how you can reasonably assert that Hamas did not murder innocent men, women, and children, families who were caught unaware in the kibbutzim near Gaza. They were not soldiers, these were not military targets.

@linuxtechmore Israel has claims on that land going back thousands of years. That does not mean I advocate killing or mistreatment of Palestinians. Israel was a desert wasteland that no one wanted before the Jews came back to the land in 1948. The world came together to give them that little piece of land at that time because of the horrors of the Holocaust that had just occurred. I am not saying Israel or its military is perfect but murder and torture of civilians is always wrong.
