       I almost got rear ended driving home in the dark tonight. Again. Increasingly, driving around eastern Washington and Oregon can be summarized as: "A deer in front of me, a dumbass behind me."There are more and more people driving way over the speed limit, ignoring weather conditions, and following too closely. I've got to figure that it's all of the west side/California transplants that move here and bring their shit attitudes and shit behaviors with them.

       @one_percent I work in auto insurance claims. If you're ever in an accident with one of those boneheads, make sure to take clear photos of their car and plate numbers while waiting for the police.

       @one_percent Not a bad idea.Also make sure your auto policy is up to date and your collision and comprehensive deductibles are affordable. That way if you do need to use your policy for repairs you won't be selling a kidney to pay the deductible.

       @TANSTAAFL In this case, it would have been my commercial auto policy, which I just paid the full year premium on a few days ago. No deductible. A few days ago I had an idea: get that rear cam, and some bumper stickers printed up:"You're on camera, don't be a jackass."I'm curious if that would change some of the behavior I'm seeing. 😁
