       @PNS @roundy Same at home. At work, the CC suite makes my blood boil on the daily. Adobe programs have become a bloated abomination. And they change key shortcuts on the regular so that my old brain has to rememorized shit.No Bueno, would not pay for it. 🤓

       @roundy How about Main page instead?I can think of several different alternatives to "parent". But then I don't care about a master / subordinate relationship anyway. That more accurately represents what is going on.

       GitHub pulled that master->main bs. I set my account to make it keep using master. Not that I really care one way or another, I just think it’s stupid to make the change for something that only a few white people actually think matters.

       @roundy the amount of money this costs is not lost on them either. They feel like they HAVE to do it and should do it. It is an interesting “prove you are part of the club” thing. The club is so important that it is worth spending money and alienating  some customers in order to be really appealing to certain ones. It’s like the Star Trek Borgs testing loyalty of their members in order to flush the ones out that aren’t compatible with only caring about the collective.
