       There is a complication in attempting to dive into the Chinese-side of things in that most of the “packed hospitals”-tier media is all downstream from dissidents, or Falun Gong who now wear a label of “Human Rights Activist” or “International Journalist”.Not saying what they’re putting out is all bullshit, but some of it doesn’t look legit.        @scalar to summarize, China developed another virus one which is "overloading" their medical system, but this is difficult to confirm because of China's dubious reporting. not only this, but the new super virus is already state side, and if it isn't a nothing burger, we may or may not be seeing covid, but real

       @scalar I've been expecting a covid redux if they feel they could get the managerial hysteric caste to go through with the motions. It was just so helpful on so many fronts at once, heading into election year again it's easy to see that they would want a return to their peak of power.The chinks didn't really come out worse for wear, either. Conceivably they could be on board, too. I kind of lean more into the conspiracy angle than yet another SARS panic thing, these have been going on all my life and they were always non-issues until the regime went for broke in 2021
