@fluxwatcher Totally agree! That's what I'm going to do tomorrow morning, face by face. For more than two years, they haven't been following my requests, just start complaining when things don't go the way they want.It's time to cut this rope.

@garyhtech @fluxwatcher Thank you, Gary. Actually, I believe they are just being stubborn; they want everything their way without understanding either the technical or physical reasons. I can't store 20TB of video contents on a 10 TB drive - without transcoding them.In my experience, I have fundamentally found that working with mediocre people never leads to good results. My grandfather used to say: "Trying to wash a donkey's head only results in a waste of water and soap." 😄

@stefano @garyhtech I've often seen such cases in small firms that don't have an appointed in-house person in charge of IT, and where technologically illiterate CEOs see 'computer people' as potential fraudsters.— My unwelcome free advice to those firms is often, 'I will be most happy to help you once you know what you need.' 🤷♂️

@fluxwatcher @stefano @garyhtech That is 100% my experience too. I was supposed to be that in-house IT person, was called a fraudster for working overtime and showing all my work + all colleagues actually backed me up. I'm doing it pro bono since it's the company my dad works at so it's more for his sanity instead of my pockets. Just turn around and leave.
