       I asked the question here about off-brand replacement UPS batteries. No real experiences or 'try it.'Did. Do not recommend, maybe if you like to modify your stuff.Direct replacement battery arrived, thermals wrong size (F1 vs F2). Can't return Lead-Acid batteries. Seller offers to send adapters. First set gets "lost." Second set arrives. Garbage. Half the thickness of the terminal, easily bend, and connections are too long to fit in the battery compartment.Totally not worth $40 in savings.

       @DudeNamedJeff i missed the question, but had similar experience ordering off brand batteries. Arrived dead, way lighter than original i.e. less capacity, etc.

       @Schmilsson I asked some time ago (month or two maybe).I was pretty ticked that the price more than doubled for the same battery ($28 -> $66) in 3 years. Figured I'd try an off brand. Not doing that again in this case.
