@Aviva_Gary My take is they want to devolve all power to the states, gut the federal government except for defense, and give the broadest possible powers to elevate the power of big business and churches.They don't, as far as I can tell, want a government at any level other than to enforce purity and morality laws.If you explain that many Red states will immediately sink into 3rd world status, they are actually ok with that@GottaLaff

@Aviva_Gary I think they are actually quite ok with that, and would say that ice storms are natural shocks sent by God for immoral behavior, and that ERCOT failed because there was insufficient private enterprise and competition, and too many restrictive rules. (Which is their stock manswer to pretty much all bad outcomes)@GottaLaff

@Aviva_GaryI haven't tried this myself, but I reckon put your own people in as many places as possible.Do what you can to reward their loyalty, and to screen them from consequences when they ignore the law. Then just more of the same. Doesn't take huge ideas. Over time people will adjust to the new source of power. I guess we ought to ask a Hungarian?@GottaLaff
