The server goes down on Monday morning. Client opens a ticket. This is the reply they got in Tuesday evening: "On weekdays we will try to get back to you within 24 hours. We usually have a longer response time over the weekend.Tickets created friday afternoon might not be answered until monday. We are only humans and we like to relax over theweekend.We will take a look at your server."I think it's time to change hosting company.#Hosting #IT #SysAdmin #BadSupport

@stefano that's not a hosting company, that's a solo operation.

@stefano Please write the name of the company so your viewers don't make the mistake of choosing that company.

@catavz I wouldn't want to publicly shame the provider (although maybe they deserve it). Let's say the client has an unfounded fixation on privacy, and this provider claims to be the world's most notorious 'Privacy as a service,' even registering domains on behalf of the client to keep them from appearing. These are situations I don't like. I believe that not having ownership over the services means risking losing them at any moment, but the client insists and manages direct contact with the provider, handling the deployment themselves. Fortunately, I've never had direct dealings with this provider. - I think the information provided here is sufficient to identify them :-)
