       I just drove this at Carmax , it has 288 miles on it, felt great.  Anything weird about a three year old “new” car?Carfax clean and 30 day no questions asked return policy with a 1500 mile limit$43k

       @flanny can have symptoms of 'lot rot': weak battery, flat spots on tires, etc...Other than that, carmax has had ridiculous prices over the last 3 years, just check to see the price is lower than actual new one.

       @flanny The previous owner may have had their insurance cost go to high, or became uninsurable.  There is also the possibility that they couldn't afford the payments anymore due to inflation.I'd check the Challenger forums to see if there are any "glitches" that Dodge hasn't fixed yet.  I had 2010 that I got rid of because of a timing chain issue which was known among owners, but Dodge didn't admit to for 2 years.

       @flanny basic advice for any car that has been sitting: check the service intervals and budget for a break in service or any services that might have been skipped because the mileage is low, but are still needed because of time elapsed. Oil change obviously. Tires could be checked or have flat spots.

       @cake performance pages were normal, no rubber in the rear wheel wells, tires look greatJust odd, it’s cheaper than other Challengers on Carmax with 10k miles but they give a 30 day no questions asked return for full refund so I’ll give it a go
