       Because I've seen it on other social networks:Rounding-up for charitable donations at stores is NOT A SCAM. It doesn't magically make the store more money and profit. $1 in is $1 out of the store, the end.There's no "tax deduction" magic that suddenly makes them additional money.

       American high schools are not universal. Various public schools within a particular state usually are. The one I went to did not include this information, or if it didn't it was taught so poorly that I don't remember it.
