@sirbenoftheapex Electric cars are dumb, and I drive a tesla. Best option is to get a hydrogeeeen / electric hybrid.

@sirbenoftheapex @CrimeaRiver He’s a little but wrong. Electric vehicles sit unsold on used car lots. They sell new, but as inventory builds up on used car lots, early adopters will be surprised that their trade in isn’t worth squat.

@CoramDeo @sirbenoftheapex @CrimeaRiver Look at the available tracking numbers of how many are sold and how many sit on lots. Ex, current existing sitting on lots inventory of Ford "Mustang" E is enough for full year of sales. Typical dealer goal is that all cars on the lot be enough for 2 months... 3 is already devastating for them as each day they sit, interest is being paid to the banks. There is no point of producing any more for a year... that is what manufacturers are facing,used are worse

@MaleticResearch @sirbenoftheapex @CrimeaRiver That's crazy. I work by the international airport here (MDT), so there are a lot of renatl places. Not the biggest fleets, but substantial. So, ther are a bunch of used car lots with renatl inventory for sale from the likes of Enterprise, Avis, etc. Thse lots are stuffed with used EVs. All of them look like they are in great shape and have pretty low mileage. I sort of wonder if they are also a flop on the rental side as well.
